The Foundations Behavior Change Program
How many times have you tried to improve your health and wellness, only to quit and fall back into old habits after the first week or two? I created Foundations because I wanted to break the vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting that I found myself in. I wanted to create a program that would help me develop a solid foundation that would result in long-term change.
I created Total Transformation: Transform your body, mind, and spirit in 2014. There were many times over the years that I almost threw in the towel, especially when faced with a global pandemic that threw a wrench in my plans. I never would have dared to dream that the daily goals I started keeping in an attempt to relieve the stress I was feeling all those years ago would lead me to the development of Foundations, the program that would transform my life.

Why is behavior change so hard?
Because most of our behavior is habitual, and starting a new habit is difficult, and breaking a bad habit is even harder.
Your success will come down to your daily habits - the actions that you take every single day. If you building a solid foundation of consistent, healthy habits, you will have the tools to conquer any obstacle that stands in your way, and apply it to any area of your life.
Foundations will keep you accountable and motivated as you set out to achieve your goals. It will keep you feel balanced and grounded as you work to build consistency in your new routine.
My Approach
It sounds like it should be so simple, but then you throw in life and all the things that we are trying to juggle and suddenly the waters get muddied. Work, relationships, children, chores, fitness, nutrition, all of these things that we are supposed to effectively manage and balance in our lives. And what is very simple becomes incredibly complicated and overwhelming. So how do we effectively break it down to something that we can manage without pulling our hair out? We focus, we plan, we implement change, and we stick with it. Eventually it does become easier. And the more stable the foundation you create, the less it will shake when things disrupt your life in the future.
